The LaCAP Home Page gives you a description of what the LaCAP program is, allows you to enroll or re-enroll for LaCAP, view cases that are linked to your account, return to an incomplete LaCAP enrollment/re-enrollment that has not been submitted or check the status of a recently submitted LaCAP application.
If you received a letter from DCFS saying that you may be eligible for LaCAP, click “Enroll” or the Enroll link to begin a LaCAP application.
If you already receive LaCAP benefits and need to re-enroll for the program, click “Re-enroll” or the Re-enroll link to being a LaCAP re-enrollment.
If you have any programs that are currently linked to your account, they will display in the Program(s) Linked to Your Account section. If you would like to link any programs to your account, click “Add Other Case(s) to Your Account” to access the Link Account to Cases page.
If you previously started a LaCAP enrollment/re-enrollment and had to exit and save, click “Continue” next to the appropriate application under Incomplete LaCAP Enrollments/Re-Enrollments. This will take you back to the page you last saved on in the enrollment/re-enrollment.
The Submitted LaCAP Enrollments/Re-Enrollments section displays a summary of the LaCAP applications you have submitted in the past six years.
Click the View Full Summary link to view and/or print a full summary of the LaCAP enrollment/re-enrollment. Click View Status to view the status of you LaCAP enrollment/re-enrollment.
